Daily Schedule

 

Children need a simple routine to follow. Routine helps a child to learn and to anticipate what comes next. The general schedule followed at Shining Home Child Care may vary depending on the interest of the child and the weather. Please adhere to the contracted arrival and departure time to prevent disruption in the daily routine of the childcare. The daily activities are planned with all children being involved. Late arrivals need to be phoned in 30 minutes early.

 

A daily schedule is as follows:

 

8:00-8:30      Log in. Bye-bye time. Individual play.

 

8:30-9:00      Breakfast

 

9:00-9:30      Potty/Diaper Change and Free play

 

9:30-10:00      Book Reading and Singing.

 

10:00-10:15    Walking to the Park.

 

10:15-11:15    Outside playing (Playground or Park).

 

11:15-11:30    Going Back to Child Care

 

11:30-11:45    Washing hands & Free Play

 

11:45-12:00   Preparing for Lunch, Children TV Programs

 

12:00-12:30   Lunch

 

12:30-12:45   Clean up, Potty/Diaper Change, Ready for Nap.

 

1:00-3:00      Nap Time.

 

3:00-3:30      Potty/ Diaper Change; Preparing PM Snack.

 

3:30-4:00      Afternoon Snack

 

4:00-4:30     Book Reading

 

4:30-5:00     Arts & Crafts

 

5:00-5:30     Free Play

 

5:30-6:00    Potty/Diaper Change, Clean up, Log out.
